PLUMdata is a web service that connects to your Google Drive, analyses the names and — where needed — the content of files you choose to scan, and proposes renames according to a naming convention you set. Nothing in your Drive changes until you explicitly approve a suggestion. The full data lifecycle is documented in our Privacy & Security page.
You need a Google account and the legal authority to grant PLUMdata access to the Drive content you scan. If you’re using a work or school account, you confirm your organisation permits third-party Drive tools. You must be at least 16 years old (or the digital consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
You agree not to:
PLUMdata charges per file processed. The first 10 files per account are free (lifetime). Pricing tiers are shown at /pricing and are calculated server-side at the moment you confirm a scan. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal.
Rename suggestions are produced by an AI model. They are best-effort interpretations of your files’ names and content, not guaranteed-correct facts. You are responsible for reviewing each suggestion before approving it. PLUMdata is not liable for renames you approve that turn out to be unsuitable; the review step exists precisely for this reason. Every applied rename has a one-click undo.
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (Google, Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel), and unforeseen incidents may cause downtime. We don’t offer a formal SLA at this stage.
PLUMdata is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid PLUMdata in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. for gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
You can stop using PLUMdata at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. From that moment we have no ability to read or modify anything in your Drive. To delete the account record we hold (your email and payment history), email us and we’ll action it within 48 hours.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if continued service is unlawful, or if we discontinue the product. Where the cause isn’t a breach by you, we’ll give reasonable notice and pro-rata refunds for any unused pre-paid credit.
If we materially change these terms, we’ll post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If you don’t accept a change, stop using the service and revoke access as described above.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence apply.
PLUMdata’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Drive data for advertising, do not transfer it except as necessary to provide the service, do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent or where required by law, and do not use it to train generalised AI models.
We’ll respond within 48 hours.
